Neighborhood Improvement & Code Enforcement

Belton's Neighborhood Improvement & Code Enforcement is responsible for enforcing various City Ordinances related to the maintenance and use of property and operates within the Community Development Department.


Common Code Violations

  • Tall grass / weeds in excess of 7 inches
  • Junk / debris stored outdoors
  • Inoperable vehicles (to include missing operable parts, partially wrecked & expired tags)
  • Parking / storing of vehicles, trailers & recreational vehicles on grass
  • Downed tree limbs or other yard waste
