Winter Weather Update - December 26, 2023
Winter Weather Update - December 26, 2023
Published on December 26, 2023
DECEMBER 26, 2023
The City of Belton Public Works crews are currently out and about treating streets.
As we anticipate the possibility of re-freezing overnight and into the early morning, we urge everyone to exercise heightened caution during their commute. Your safety is of utmost importance to us.
Please consider reducing your speed, allowing for increased stopping distances, and remaining vigilant on the roadways. Adverse weather conditions require extra attention and patience.
Additionally, if feasible, ensure that your pathways are clear to minimize the risk of slips and falls. Taking these precautions collectively will help create a safer environment for all.
Thank you for your help in creating a safe community during this winter season.
