1. What inspired you to run for public office?

I have always wanted to be involved in my community and when we moved to Belton our water bill convinced me to run.

2. What are your top priorities or goals for the community during your term?

My one goal is to get younger folks involved. I love making decisions to help your City of Belton grow but it’s important to have the people who are raising kids make those important decisions because those decisions will impact their future.

3. What do you love most about our city?

The quality of life in Belton is something I cherish. I want help plan our future, rather than letting growth that is coming control us.

4. What past experiences or roles have best prepared you for this position?

I have been a woman owned small business owner my entire adult life, I have a passion to start projects and seeing them to completion.

5. How can residents get involved or share their concerns with you?

Bret and I hold quarterly Ward 4 meetings and love when people bring us their concerns, which allows us to help our folks in Ward 4.
