Responsibilities

The Travel, Training, and Economic Development Advisory Committee is appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. The Committee is created for the purpose of participating in the economic development vetting process to bridge the gap between staff and the community's needs and desires. They will create and maintain an updated economic development policy for elected officials and staff to follow. This Committee is advisory only, without formal review authority over specific people, actions, systems, structures, or protocols.
