Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting & Main Street Light Parade 2023

Join us on Main Street for the Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting and Light Parade November 25, 2023. This event is a fundraiser for the Belton Welfare Association and Operation Santa. 

Festivities kick off at 4:30 p.m. with hot dogs prepared by the Lions Club and a raffle at Fire Station 1.

The raffle will be open from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Bring 3 canned goods for a raffle ticket or purchase tickets for $1/each. No limit! All money raised will go toward the Belton Welfare Association and Operation Santa. (cash and credit cards accepted)

New this year - a silent auction! Come prepared to bid that night for a chance a win 4 rounds of golf at Eagles' Landing Golf Course and snack bar credit. The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. and bring Santa to Main Street! Mayor Larkey will present Belton's Top Dog award (sponsored by Chewy) and will present a monetary donation to Operation Santa.

Mayor Larkey will light the tree outside Fire Station 1 at approximately 6:15 p.m. Come early to enjoy pre-lighting activities and secure your spot to see the lighting!

After the parade be sure to check your raffle tickets to see what you've won! We will also announce the winner of the silent auction. Stick around for Santa, hayrides, food trucks,  character sightings, and more!
