Bid Request
The City of Belton Public Works is seeking bids for a new Hydro Excavation Truck - either a dedicated Hydroexcavator Unit or a Sewer Combination Truck with Hydroexcavator Capabilities to replace the current unit in operation.
Item Specifications:
- Positive Displacement or Fan Blower
- 1,000 Gallon Minimum Water Capacity
- High Pressure Water Pump with 3000 PSI
- Winter Weather Recirculation System
- Work Strobe Lights
- Minimum 10 Yd³ Debris Body
- 8-inch Vacuum Hose with Extensions
- Demo Units Are Acceptable
- 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty or Similar
- Optional Line Item for Trade-In Price on a 2013 108SD Camel Combination Truck
This is a formal bid process. Sealed bids shall be mailed to Matthew Wilson, Assistant Superintendent, Public Works Department, Attention: Bid No. 26-026, 700 Seabee Road, Belton, MO 64012.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or deficiencies therein to negotiate with any or all bidders or others for more favorable terms or prices and to award a contract to other than the bidder submitting the lowest cost bid proposal with or without negotiation and to determine which is the lowest, best, and most responsive to accept, at its option, any alternates.
