Project Description:
This project includes crack filling, seal coating, and re-striping of parking lots and asphalt drives within Memorial Park. Work consists of cleaning and filling pavement cracks, applying asphalt sealcoats to protect and extend pavement life, and restriping parking stalls, handicap spaces, directional arrows, and other pavement markings to improve safety and appearance. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on August 3, 2026, at 11:00am, local time, at 998 Commercial Street, Belton, MO 64012 . Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications and scope of work requirements, bids will only be accepted from those who are represented at the Pre-Bid Meeting. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting will be evidenced by the representative’s signature on the attendance roster.

Bid Response:
This is a formal bid process. Please use the outermost envelope submittal label to mark your submittal "Sealed RFP #BPR 26-020" with your company name printed on it. Sealed bids will be received by Nick Althauser, Parks Superintendent, 16400 N. Mullen Rd., Belton, Missouri, 64012 until 2:00pm, local time, on August 11, 2026, at which time bidding will be closed. All bids will be opened and read aloud.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or deficiencies therein to negotiate with any or all bidders or others for more favorable terms or prices and to award a contract to other than the bidder submitting the lowest cost bid proposal with or without negotiation and to determine which is the lowest, best, and most responsive to accept, at its option, any alternates and to approve the bond.
