Work Description:

This project involves the investigation, identification, and corrective repair of an active roof leak affecting the existing Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing system and adjacent Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) wall assembly. The scope includes detailed assessment, removal of compromised materials, installation of new roofing membrane, reconstruction of affected EIFS components, and installation of new flashing to ensure long-term watertight performance. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on April 16, 2026, at 1:00pm, local time, at High Blue 16400 N. Mullen Rd. Belton, MO 64012 . Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications and scope of work requirements, bids will only be accepted from those who are represented at the Pre-Bid Meeting. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting will be evidenced by the representative’s signature on the attendance roster.

Bid Response:

This is a formal bid process. Please use the outermost envelope submittal label to mark your submittal "Sealed RFP BPR 26-007" with your company name printed on it. Sealed bids will be received by the Parks Superintendent, Nick Althauser of the City of Belton at High Blue, 16400 N. Mullen Rd., Belton, Missouri, 64012 until 2:00pm, local time, on April 24, 2026, at which time bidding will be closed. All bids will be opened and read aloud.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or deficiencies therein to negotiate with any or all bidders or others for more favorable terms or prices and to award a contract to other than the bidder submitting the lowest cost bid proposal with or without negotiation and to determine which is the lowest, best, and most responsive to accept, at its option, any alternates and to approve the bond.
