The City of Belton is now accepting applications for the Public Safety Sales Tax (PSST) Oversight Committee. This appointment will be to fulfill the term of a vacancy. The term expires June 1, 2029.
This nine-member citizen oversight committee is responsible for reviewing the collection and expenditure of revenue from the half-cent General Sales Tax for Public Safety that was approved by voters on November 6, 2018.
Applications will be accepted through June 22, 2026. Questions can be directed to admin@belton.org.
