Water Main Replacement Project

The City is replacing approximately 13,400 feet of aging water main with new 8-inch water main in the Countryside Manor and Lacy Estates subdivisions. This project will improve water reliability and reduce main breaks.

Where We’re Working

The project will be completed in two phases, with work taking place along the following streets:

Phase 1 — Countryside Manor

  • Line 1: Hawthorne Drive from Hawthorne Court to MO Route 58
  • Line 2: Redbud Lane  from Hawthorne Drive to Berry Avenue
  • Line 3: Berry Avenue from Airway Lane to Hawthorne Drive

Phase 2 — Lacy Estates

  • Line 4: Lacy Lane from Mill Street to Brookside Drive
  • Line 5: Pacific Drive from Park Avenue to Colbern Street
  • Line 6: Prairie Lane from Park Avenue to Lacy Lane

What to Expect During Construction

  • Traffic and Access: Work will be staged to maintain neighborhood access as much as possible. Road closures are likely and detours will be clearly marked throughout construction. Residents may also see short-term driveway or mailbox access interruptions near active work zones.
  • Water Service: Brief, scheduled water outages may occur when crews switch services to the new main. Residents will be notified in advance whenever possible.
  • Restoration: Once pipe installation and testing are complete, crews will restore yards, sidewalks and pavement in the work areas.
