The Pre-Application Development Review Committee (DRC) coordinates development services for the City of Belton. The DRC is made up of representatives from multiple departments across the City and are here to make the development process as easy as possible. These meetings are required because they offer many benefits to each project and increase the application acceptance rate.

Setting Up A Meeting:

The Pre-Application (DRC) meets weekly on Wednesday's between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. as meetings are requested. Meetings are held in the Belton City Hall Annex at 520 Main Street, Belton, Missouri.

The completed Questionnaire, with any supporting documentation, is required to be turned in Thursday by 2:00 p.m., prior to the Wednesday you wish to meet. Following the submittal of the DRC Pre Application Questionnaire(PDF, 187KB)  and supporting documentation, an appointment time will be confirmed. Review the Planning Commission and Development Review Schedule(PDF, 192KB) and the Board of Zoning Adjustment Schedule(PDF, 101KB).
