Untreated stormwater runoff is a major source of pollution in urbanized areas. Under a state permit, the City develops and maintains a Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP), which addresses activities that may contribute to pollution within the community. The SWMP is updated every five years. As part of the public involvement requirement, the plan is available for public review. Public comment will be accepted from Feb. 12 through March 13.
