Notice Regarding 1511 N. Scott Avenue

According to Section 6-96 of the city code, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the City of Belton revoked the business license at 1511 N. Scott Avenue due to conduct detrimental to the public health, safety, and general welfare as to constitute a nuisance. The revocation comes in response to a shooting that occurred at the property on February 11, 2023, where more than 40 shell casings were recovered and two vehicles with bullet holes were processed. During the investigation into the incident, it was also found that the business was allowing activity that violated multiple conditions of its business license and wasn’t acting in accordance with city codes.
