November 6, 2018 Ballot FAQ
On November 6, 2018, Belton voters will be asked to consider establishing a sales tax to improve funding for police and fire/EMS staffing levels, safety equipment for first responders and public safety vehicles and capital equipment. 

The flier below will answer questions about the 1/2-cent sales tax, how it could affect you, and what the impact is on Belton. It will also provide ballot language so you know what to expect when you go to the polls on November 6.

In addition to the 1/2-cent sales tax question, voters will be asked to consider three (3) Belton City Charter amendments. 

On June 5, 2018, the Belton Charter Review Commission presented its final report to the Belton City Council
