The city of Belton has accomplished a great deal in recent years diversifying and growing our employment base, housing stock and investing in infrastructure. The Missouri Economic Development Council recognized this success and has named Carolyn Yatsook, Belton’s economic development director, as its 2021 Professional Economic Developer of the Year – a recognition not just of her leadership but of the larger team of hardworking city professionals who are essential to any success we’ve earned.
