Assistant Finance Director

The City of Belton is accepting applications to be considered for the position of a full-time Assistant Finance Director. This person will serve under general supervision and is responsible for performing a variety of professional, administrative and technical accounting and finance functions in maintaining the fiscal records of the City.   For additional details, please see the Assistant Finance Director Job Description(PDF, 36KB).

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and five years of progressively responsible accounting or municipal finance experience; OR and equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  A physical and drug test are required upon selection.

Salary range begins at $60,109 per year, with a competitive benefit package.  Hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
