 A formal Entry of Appearance is required on ALL cases. 

We accept Entries of Appearance by: 

  • E-filing through CaseNet

The request for continuance will be granted at the Court's discretion.   

 

 

 

 

Plea Agreements

Plea Agreements
All plea negotiations must go through the City Prosecutor, William N. Marshall III.  The Prosecutor does accept mail-in pleas. Please see the Affidavit of Guilty Plea and Waiver of Appearance tab below. This form will need to be submitted with any mail-in plea and payment. Please contact the court office at (816) 331-2798 for further information.

Due to Minimum Operating Standards imposed by the Missouri Supreme Court, the defense bar will have the added burden of providing copies of the citation(s) for each defendant when negotiating with the Prosecutor. You may obtain a copy of the citation(s) on CaseNet. If you cannot locate the citation in CaseNet, please contact the court office.

 

Please be prepared prior to the court date. The court has limited ability to provide these copies on the day of your appearance and does not have sufficient time to provide your request.
