9th Annual Belton Stream/Watershed Event

Stream Clean Up 2021
Belton's 9th Annual Stream Clean Up/Watershed Event on Saturday, March 25, starting at Wallace Park. It’s a great opportunity to join friends, neighbors, scouts, city officials and others in caring for the stream/watershed in our community!

 

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the information tent south of the Wallace Park soccer fields. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Trash pick up will begin at 9 a.m. Grilled hotdogs will be served at the end.

Anyone interested in participating is invited to gather at the south end of Wallace Park/east entrance of Cornerstone Development, 16500 Cornerstone Drive. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes, bring your own reusable water bottle. Safety training, gloves, trash bags and loppers will be provided.

 

The event is sponsored by the South Grand River Watershed Alliance, Belton Parks and Recreation, and the Missouri Stream Team.
