Training Division

The primary functions of the Training Division involve the planning, directing, organizing, and controlling of training for all firefighters and paramedics of the Belton Emergency Services. This includes:
  • Developing training curriculum for fire suppression and EMS personnel
  • Evaluating training activities
  • Maintaining all training records
  • Recertification of EMTs and Paramedics

The division also provides training on several specialized topics including:
  • Hazardous materials
  • High angle rescue
  • Ice rescue
  • Confined space rescue
  • Vehicle extrication
