Golf Maintenance Worker

Eagles’ Landing Golf Course, owned and operated by the City of Belton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Golf Maintenance Worker.  The successful applicant must be willing to learn new skills, work weekends or holidays (if needed), have a positive attitude, and work to achieve the goals of the golf course.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of golf course maintenance equipment, mowing & weed eating
  • Assist the Golf Course Superintendent with directing the seasonal and part-time staff
  • Learning the functionality of the golf course irrigation system
  • General golf course maintenance duties
  • Assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of the golf course equipment

This position is required to perform physical activities ranging from lifting large, heavy objects; being regularly exposed to dangerous machinery; being exposed to potential physical harm; and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.  Applicants are required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a physical & drug test.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED; experience in lawn care, golf course maintenance or similar field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Pay is $21.06/hr. Benefits include vacation time, sick time, individual health and dental insurance, enrollment in Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS), and paid holidays.
