The City's new three million gallon elevated storage tank was put into service on December 3, 2015!
Construction on this project began in mid-2014. The purpose of the project is to provide additional capacity and storage to the City's drinking water system. This initial component is the beginning of a multi-phase program to address deficiencies in the City's drinking water system.
These improvements will enhance the City's ability to provide water during peak demands. Funding for this project is provided by a bond approved by the voters in April 2013. In addition, the City received a low-interest loan through the State of Missouri's State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program. Closure of the SRF loan occurred in March 2014.
