How to Establish Water/Sewer Service
In order to establish service, you must:
  • Provide valid driver's license or state ID
  • Make a water account deposit (cash or check only)
    • $110 Commercial Account
    • $165 Renter
    • $85   Homeowner

How to Stop Water/Sewer Service

If you are moving from the City of Belton to another city and no longer require water or sewer service simply call our Account Clerks at 816-331-4331 or stop by City Hall between 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday.  We do have same day service if you let us know by 3:00pm.

For your protection and security we do ask that you provide your account number.


How to Transfer Water/Sewer Service
If you are moving from one location to another in the City of Belton it is very easy to transfer your service.  Call our Account Clerks at 816-331-4331 or stop by City Hall between 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday.  We do have same day service if you let us know by 3:00pm.

Just provide us with the date that you would like to terminate your service at your old location and the date that you would like to start your service at your new location. Your Water and Sewer services can overlap if needed.

Since we do have same day service if you make your request by 3:00pm, we ask that if you are unsure of your dates, please wait and call us when it is closer to your move date.
