Community Planning and Development Director Rapidly developing suburb of Kansas City with a population of 25,000. Salary Range $64,000 to $86,000, D.O.Q. Director of eight-member department; responsible for planning, zoning, development regulation, plan review, building code inspection, and property maintenance code enforcement. Coordinates and advises Planning Commission and related Boards. Require BA in city planning or related field and five years of progressively responsible city planning experience, with three years supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer MA, and AICP certification. Assistant City Engineer
City of Belton (Pop. 24,000) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant City Engineer. Salary range $50,266.93-$67,362.33, DOQ, plus benefits. Primary duties will involve development plans review and coordination. Required qualifications are a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in civil engineering, registered as an E.I.T. (Missouri P.E. preferred) and prefer 3 plus years experience in municipal engineering.
