The City of Belton is offering residents an opportunity, at no charge, to drop-off unwanted household hazardous waste
for proper disposal.

NO HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) WILL BE PICKED UP
AT THE CURBSIDE. YOU MUST BRING HHW TO THE
MOBILE
OUTREACH COLLECTION EVENT.

WHEN: Saturday, June 14, 2008 - 8:00 a.m.- 12 Noon

LIMITED TO FIRST 240 VEHICLES.

ABOP = only antifreeze, batteries, motor oil, and paint are accepted

In addition to the mobile events, permanent collection centers are located across the metro area. To drop off HHW at the Kansas City facility, located just south of the Chouteau Bridge, call 816-784-2080. The Lee’s Summit number is 816-969-7516 and that facility is open April through November on the first Saturday of the month, with some exceptions for holidays.
