The
Engineering Division of the Public Works Department has the overall
responsiblity of all civil engineering duties that impact the
city. More specifically described as follows:
Common
Duties
Reviews all new development plans. Provides engineering support
to all other departments and divisions within the City. Observes
installation of all utilities within new development. Manages
building maintenance of existing City properties. Attends meetings
dealing with Planning and Zoning issues. Manages mapping program.
Manage Right of Way issues. Assists residents with property concerns.
Manages Flood Plain program. Works with developers and contractors
on various drainage concerns. Provides information to developers,
utility contractors and surveyors. Manages and coordinates special
programs as required. Manages
capital improvement construction projects.
