Awarded for the
Cimarron Trails Stormwater Project
Rep. Chris Molendorp and Sen. David Pearce announced that
the City of Belton has been awarded a $400,000 Community
Development Block Grant from the Missouri Department of
Economic Development for drainage improvements in the Cimarron
Trails area.
West
Belton Storm Drainage Improvements Project
The
intersection of 174th & Chestnut will be closed for
utility relocation and installation of the new storm sewer
pipes. The road closure is scheduled for July 26th until
approximately September 3rd, weather dependent.
The traffic detour routes are Montgall & South Benton
to 58 Hwy & 176th Streets.
Beginning on August 4th the
monthly test of the outdoor warning sirens will change.
Weather permitting the test will be on the first WEDNESDAY
of each month at 11:00.
