Directions to City Hall on Main Street: Coming from South 71 Highway take the 163rd Street exit. Turn right onto 163rd St., continue south to Main Street (1 block past the railroad tracks), turn right on Main Street. City Hall is on the left at 506, just past the museum. Map

Coming from North 71 Highway go west on 58 Highway to Y Highway (there is a Quik Trip, Conoco and CVS Drug Store at this intersection). Turn left onto Y Highway and go south to Main Street (1 block past the railroad tracks), turn right on Main Street.

There are many businesses to visit on Main Street, the Missouri License bureau is at 325 Main Street.

City Hall - 506 Main Street

You must make application at City Hall for this service.  There is a deposit required for the water service. We are located at 506 Main Street and are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications for same day service need to be made prior to 3:00 p.m. The deposit is $85.00 if buying, $165.00 is renting, and $110.00 for commercial accounts. We accept cash or check and require one form of identification. Automatic withdrawl of your water and sewer bill payment directly from your bank account is now available.

FRAUD ALERT
If you receive a call from someone saying they are with the City of Belton utility department stating that your check for water/sewer payment was not signed, and in order to avoid disconnection you need to provide a debit or credit card number while on the phone, please do not give out any of your personal information. The City of Belton utility department will not call and ask you for personal information over the phone. Please report any calls of this nature to the Belton Police Department at 816.331.1500.

DOG & CAT LICENSES

Licenses are not required in Belton.  However, you are still required to have your dog or cat vaccinated against rabies.  

PARK & RECREATION

The office is located at 325 Main Street, Belton, Missouri.  Tag registration and drivers license renewals.  New residents to Cass County will have to register with the County Assessor to verify personal property tax before tags with be issued.  Assessor's office is located at 201 W. Wall, Harrisonville, Missouri, 380-8400.
